Swing Doors

Swing door drive units take over the job of opening and closing manual interior doors as well as heavy and large-sized external doors. The whisper quiet opening motion is motor driven while the silent closure is ensured through a variable spring force either supporting the motor or in lieu of the motor in manual operation. Individually selectable additional functions, contact-less motion detectors and safety sensors installed on the door leaf enhance the safety and convenience provided by manual swing doors.

	Automated swing doors for increased comfort Gilgen's swing door drives, type FDC or F4 have been designed for automating new or existing, heavy or lightweight doors. The drive units are suited for applications in public, industrial or administrative buildings, hospitals, hotels, airports, etc.
	The swing door drive unit for single-winged doors The various power transmission rod assemblies are suitable for installation in new or existing manual swing doors. FIRE RATING:

The FDC-B version of the FDC drive unit is 2 hour fire tested and rated for Australian and New Zealand installations.
